Tours start on the hour.
You will learn about the history of Buffalo Trace Distillery, experience a century old
aging warehouse, and visit our hand bottling hall.
Groups and individuals are welcome to a complimentary tour. No need to make a reservation
for small groups.
Reservations are required for groups of 25 or more.

Space is limited so we recommend making reservations far in advance to ensure availability.
The Hard Hat Tour takes you behind the scenes of the bourbon making process (no you do not have to wear a hard hat!).
You will see our grain delivery, cookers, Fermentation tanks, three story column still, and more.

The Post Prohibition Tour is scheduled by reservation only.
Space is limited so we recommend making reservations far in advance to ensure availability.
The Post Prohibition Tour focuses on the architecture and building expansion that occurred
on the grounds from 1930-1950. This was a time of huge growth as America was one thirsty nation after 11 years
of outlawed drinking!
Other times may be arranged by appointment.

The distillery is handicapped accessible, with a special tour provided for our physically challenged visitors upon request.
Buffalo Trace Distillery is closed Sundays, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Years Day.
